TYPES
1. ATOPIC ASTHMA(early onset asthma)
Hypersensitive asthmatic children
who develop commonly IGE antibodies to allergen
Associated with family history of
allergic disease
2. NON – ATOPIC( late onset asthma )
Common in adults
Extrinsic allergens do not play
much role
